Newcomers Club of Greater Seattle is a social organization for women, both those who are new to the region and those who've been here awhile.

Become a member today to:

START CONNECTING

We meet and make friends through about 50 Interest Groups. Examples: Hiking, Mah Jongg, and Happy Hours.  Most gather in person, others on Zoom, and some regularly include partners/ guests.  Members initiate new groups and can attend as many or few activities as they like. There's something for everyone.


GET ACQUAINTED

Let's meet! Drop in on a "Prospective Member Session" on Zoom. (For announcements, subscribe to 'Keep In Touch'). Veteran members can tell you about the club, answer questions, and even help you sign up. Another option: Email us about attending an in-person activity as a guest. You may go to two before joining the club.

The 180+ women in Newcomers Club of Greater Seattle have varied backgrounds and hail from various parts of our nation and world. Moving to Seattle during the pandemic, I worried that I wouldn't make new friends. Then I stumbled upon Newcomers online and joined right away. The following Monday, I went to a nearby cafe for an outdoor  "Come for Coffee" gathering. I have many solid friendships now, and Seattle feels like home. The club has made all the difference.

I've been a member of Newcomers for 18 years, and my husband and I have made some of our closest friends through the club. It has enriched our lives tremendously through meeting so many wonderful new people and taking part in the numerous club activities available to us. And we continue to enjoy meeting the newest members joining the club.

 In August 2022, a group of members embarked on a 2-hour sunset sail around Elliott Bay.  Spouses, partners, and guests joined the fun.
