Join us on Wednesday September 11 for our quarterly All-Club Event! We'll gather at 11:30 am at Salty's on Alki Beach, a popular seafood restaurant in West Seattle. What makes this lunch special:
Plated lunch choices:
All lunches will include a Farmers Salad, coffee or tea, and cookies.
Salty’s Two Piece Fish and Chips Cod with the house-special breading, fries, tartar sauce and lemon
Brined and Roasted Chicken A 24-hour brine, roasted with a chili-lime-honey glaze, served with garlic-mashed potatoes and veggies.
After lunch, we'll hear from speaker Bill Tashima, president of the Japanese American Citizen’s League, Seattle Chapter. He'll discuss the history of our region's Japanese Americans, including his grandparents' wartime experiences.
Register online:
Bring a donation for charity: Our Engage for Change group will be collecting new men's socks and travel-size toiletries for Community Lunch, a social services organization that provides hot lunches for people experiencing homelessness or economic hardship.
Getting to Salty's:
The restaurant is a 15-minute drive from downtown Seattle, and there is a free parking lot as well as street parking. It's also a quick walk from the West Seattle dock of the King County Water Taxi, which crosses the harbor from downtown Seattle in less than 15 minutes.
Last note:
Please gather outside the restaurant until 11:30, when it opens. No early admittance except for set-up volunteers.
